Using WhereMakan
WhereMakan helps you decide where to eat by suggesting one place at a time based on the location, budget and preferences you choose. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not scrape, resell, or misuse the service, and do not attempt to disrupt it for others.
Recommendations and venue information
Venue names, addresses, opening hours, photos, ratings and review-derived dish highlights come largely from third-party sources such as Google Places, plus places suggested by users. This information can be incomplete or out of date. Always check with the venue before you travel. Prices shown are estimates only.
Sponsored placements
Some recommendations are paid placements. These are always labelled "Sponsored" where they appear.
Accounts and content you submit
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure. When you suggest a place or upload a photo, you confirm you have the right to share it and you allow us to display it in the app. We may edit, reject or remove submissions.
Group rooms
Anyone with a room link can join that room, see the options and vote. Only share room links with people you want to invite.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an "as is" basis and may change or be unavailable at times. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
